A bilateral below knee amputee, victim of a major road traffic accident in Australia in 2008, he has gone on to use walking prostheses, running prostheses, swimming prostheses, driving a car, riding a motorbike, cycling and has pushed and developed a small amputee user group that met for two hours once monthly into a local award winning charity that now meet weekly, have their own transport, premises and a considerable amount of equipment that it uses daily, also regular day trips and an annual holiday.

Now Stephen has created AIM along with Andy Reid and Jackie Palmer, inspiring and motivating people of all walks of life through inspirational and motivational presentations.

AIM’s reason for not being a charity and setting up as a social enterprise was instigated by Stephen, this showing amputees that there is ways of using your disability to create employment and working within your own capabilities.
